I was sad to see that he had pasted away. But he had a good life and 96 is a long time.

A dear old man of total integrity. Even the loathsome Enoch Powell called him ''the nicest, most genuine, most human man in British politics'', apparently.

A very sad day indeed.

yes but powell was dead right in what he said he could se into the future
