WHAT he was a socialist left wing idiot.. i wouldnt wish that on him but thank fuk him and the rest of the red robbos never got in... and my old man(rip) was one of them :x :P thats my opinion let the politics begin :wink:

Respect for Michael Foot a multi talented man even if his politics were not to every ones taste :)
 
ha ha im certainly not right wing but i am a nationalist.... my dad drummed all the left wing and union cobblers into all of us... and look what happend to uk industry with that lot as far as im concernd far left is as bad as far right but as you say they new how to make a speech you sould have heard r old man :lol: :lol: altogther comrade !THE WORKERS FLAG IS DEEPEST RED STAINED WITH THE BLOOD OF WORKERS DEAD! haha :wink: :wink:
 
I don't agree with what he stood for, I voted for Maggie, but at least he did what he believed was right. Whether I agree with him is irrelevant, at least he had the balls to stand up and be counted. This modern lot are more interested in sound bites, looking pretty and crying on the telly :evil:
We need more people of his ilk on all sides of the political divide.

Tony Benn is fantastic and I'd love to meet and chat with the man. Again I don't agree with his idea's, heavens forbid :D , but you've got to love him.
Of the younger generation I like William Hague, but he'll never do well, he's not pretty enough.
