RIP Gary Moore

Some colleagues and myself did a cancer charity event in 2002, we had a guitar donated by a local music shop. He was playing at the Plymouth Pavillions, we spoke to the on duty manager, who got us together with Gary for him to sign the guitar so it could be auctioned, seemed a really nice bloke.

Another "very" underated musician

Ernie

Yeah I was in a band with his brother who is arguably as good

Gary was (or is if you believe in the afterlife) an amazing guitarist who knew how to play the Blues with feeling

He'll now be able to get together with his mate Phil in heaven and knock out some great numbers, together with all the other great Blues guys too

If you've only ever heard the 'singles' listen to his back catologue as it's great!

One last point, if you don't believe in life after death, you'll never ride fast enough...

No one would suggest he was ever under rated.

Geez.

That is like suggesting Eric Clapton is under rated.

GM was one of the greatest blues rock players ever, he will be known as such.

No danger of him ever being forgotten.

:)
