Ringle Zhooka Stem Stickers

Hello guys,

Referring to the original Ringle Zhooka stem, one of the most sought after parts of the 90's, I am wondering if the decals were just a laser cut Vinyl sticker or otherwise? I have never seen one in person.

Second question, referring to the Ringle Moby seatpost - on the other hand, it appears to me the logo and branding were neatly anodized on the seatpost, as opposed to a sticker - is this statement correct please?

*pic. for attentions

Much thanks

Alan

The original Zooka's like the one pictured were stickers. The later ones, perhaps the Sun Ringle era, we're etched in some way.

Moby posts were etched. A sticker wouldn't really have been much use as moving the post up and down most likely would have peeled the height markings off.

Thank you for the detailed explanation....with regards to the Zhooka stickers, do you happen to know if these were specifically laser cut vinyl stickers please? I am looking to replicate the sticker as many of the old stems come with damaged decals. thankyou

No idea if they are laser cut or not. A few different places offer replacements decals however. Ps. Its a Zooka stem, no H.
