I've got a set of spare skewers wich I think they could be Ringle's but I'm not sure.

Anyone can tell me how I can identify real Ringle's from fake ones?

In my experience, you know they are Ringle ones when they go...creak...snap.

But on a more positive and less cynical note, they look like it to me. There was another company making them look like that once though. Just the one I seem to remember and the modern X-Lite ones arent really that similar.

:D

Arent there any marks that only should be on the real Ringle's?

Want to sell these pair but dont know the value...:)

Think Jez is after some, ask him. He knows the value of everything...

HE'd know if they were ringle too.

By the looks of them, those are replicas of the Ti-Stix titanium models.

Not really worth of anything and I can relieve you of those so that you don't have to worry about them anymore. And remember, owning counterfeit is a crime! :P

There are no marks per-se to indentify real skewers. The three holes was the branding, and I must admit, I haven't seen aany 'fakes'. Ti stix versions with the ti rods have the backs machined out. The regular stainless/ cromoly rods didn't have the backs of the levers machined out. There were some models that were ti only, such as the gold coloured jobbies, and the ti-stix road, that came in black or silver, and had one long slot rather than the 3 holes. Looks like you have a set or 3-D Violet Ti-stil, the most desirable of the lot, worth at least £50 plus. If bone of the skinflints here will give you what they're worth, I suggest the bay

ti stix had the hollowed out lever.
Look like those to me.

Pair just sold on fleabay for £30

Did some research on the internet and combined with all yours these are original titanium ringle skewers.

Thanks,
Martin
