Ringle skewer query

Hi,
I've just brought a rear Ringle Ti Stix skewer from The Pros Closet measuring 140mm end to end but it's no where near long enough for the rear hub on my Attitude. I believe from another advert on this site that this is the length for a rear skewer but it's too short for any of my bikes. Am I being thick? I've queried it with the seller and am waiting for a response.
Thanks for any thoughts,
A.

yeah, so five the nut is like 10-15mm and the dropouts could be 5-7mm each you... plus a 100mm Front OLD.. you would need about 120-130mm of skewer for a front. looks like a nice front skewer.

nice but not so useful as I have an identical one already so need a marching rear!
thanks very much for your advice.
Andrew

you can unscrew the skewer and use a steel one of one from almost any other rear skewer if you have another Ti. it's easy just lock two nuts on the end and use the lever to unscrew the barrel. then do the same to screw it onto a rear and viola!

sorry, do you mean I can separate the lever end from the skewer itself and put onto another skewer? just tried to grip the skewer and turn the lever but the skewer spins too...
