Ringle/Mavic Ceramic Spares Karma

Sadly the hub is smashed and I really have no use for the rim so here it is up for grabs. As the pics suggest the once lovely ringle hub is foooooked but the bearings are of course silky as new so good for spares. The rim is a black 32 hole Mavic X618 Ceramic that is in vgc but needs a clean,and will straighten when laced to a new hub....easily !It comes with an old fashioned type ss screw-on freewheel with an 18t sprocket I think the spokes are DT. This is free to collect from my house in Southwell, Notts or I can post at cost (under a tenner I guess?). If you would like it please post your interest and why you should have it . Can I do the dib thing? I could do something with the rim, just want to check its the same as another I have? I don't want to deny someone else if I can't use it.

I'm on route home so will confirm in a couple of hours if that's ok?

Edit: I should have read the post more carefully! Well why do I need it??

A) to match a rim I have
B) to get enthused about a build that needs the rim
C) to match a broken front ringle hub lurking in my spares - it's all lonely

Ha it makes me laugh....all these exotic brands of hubs etc....I have smashed alot of stuff over the years but never a Shimano hub???! Mmmm food for thought :?

too, too true mate.......replaced with M732 xt hubs now....fit and forget.
