Rigid forks on a full sus frame

hmmmm got me thinkin now...

Could go a step further and brace the swingarm too.. make it fully rigid haha... Now THAT would be pointless...

As for putting rigid forks on a susser , it might be nice... Dont know till ya try i guess, and most of the hurt comes thru the saddle anyway..

Early Proflex's and Dales plus others were set up in this way. The theory was as you are in direct control of where you point the front wheel you can pick the right line and lift the front wheel as required. The rear wheel does not follow the front exactly and thus needed a shock to deal with its imperfect line choice. Load of cobblers as it turned out since hardtails and full sus now rule the roost

However, why not try a 29er front wheel on a rigid fork on a full sus frame. Might be slightly more sensible than a 26er
