Before I just pick up something modern from China (http://tinyurl.com/3xndtgw) or leave the nasty old suspension forks on it, does anyone have an old set of 1 1/8th, threadless rigid forks with at least 180mm of steerer sitting around gathering dust?
I'm looking for something for a late 90s-era Eldridge Grade that I'm getting out of the attic to use as a pub bike. I didn't pay very much for the whole bike so I'd rather not fork out too much for just the forks.
If someone has something steel and suitable in the attic, that'd be great.
