Wanted Richey LogiC left crank arm 180mm

Hi guys!

I got this Richey Logic crankset of a bike I just bought. The right side came of without a problem, but not the left. Both the pedal and the dust cap (steel) is really stuck. The pedal might come off if I put the axle in a vice, but I can't see how to get the dustup out without damaging the crank.

So here comes a long shot:
Do any of you have a left side Logic arm laying around in 180mm? Maybe you had the same thing happen to you but with the other side :)

Cheers,
Morris

I cant help with a replacement arm but with the dust cap here is what I have done before. Drill a couple of small holes in the cap so you can fit some needle nose pliers into the holes. Put that end of the crank arm with the cap in a mug of boiling water for a minute or so to get a bit of expansion going. Then try to unscrew it with the pliers. Failing that I have butchered stuck caps out before with just a screwdriver so even that is worth a go as the last resort. With the stuck pedal again I find boiling water can work wonders.

Thanks! I've tried boiling the crank and then applying ice to the dust cap, but it doesn't budge. I have now resorted to the hammer and screwdriver method. How did you do it? Chisel it out or did the threads loosen?
