Reynolds 2000???

Hi guys,

I wonder if any of you can help identify or with any information about this Titanium frame. The sticker is Reynolds 2000, can it be determined by any specifics if this is Reynolds frame? Has he ever made frames with his own brand called? What year of manufacture could this frame be?

Thanks.

Well the Reynolds 2000 Ti tubing was introduced in 1998, and the branding ran until around 2012, when it was changed to a less dated 3-2.5Ti sticker.

Your frame must be early in that date range, as it has a cantilever brake cable hanger, which was already being phased out by 1986.
Here is the Reynolds 2000 tube details from 2010:

Thank you danson67. So this needs to be 98-99 model. Did you think that this frame has any value?

Yes, 98-99.
Any Ti frame has a reasonable value, but ideally you can find the manufacurer.

Are there any other markings on the frame, numbers, letters etc?
Also, better pictures of dropouts, bottom bracket and seat tube top.

All the best.

If can help I have this pic with frame number...

That would suggest to me that it's some sort of prototype.

435X530 is probably the seat tube length (435mm) x top tube length (530mm)...ie the sample frame size.

All the best,

Nice, interesting conclusion, I didn’t think of that. Thanks.
