Not my cup of cha and in fact i find it hideous :? but what gets me wondering why if you build a seemingly nice bike with all the nice bits then skimp on the brakes. :?

I think the clue is in the fact that the TRP brakes that come with the bike are brand new. I guess owner removed the Hope/Formula/XTR or whatever and put them on a new Retrotec 29er?
