I've had all the engine parts for my Alfa in the dish washer over time. The complete head was done when it was only a few day old. I took out the top shelf and popped it in one night whilst Mrs S was out. After a few cold beers too many and a mamonth session on the play station I awoke to find a patch of dribble on my shirt and a very pissed off Mrs S holding the shelf whilst using the kind of language not befitting a Lady.

Took mucho smoothing out did that one. As for bike parts, they get done in the parts washer at work.

Do it but make sure she doesn't find out!

Tie onto a string and put in the bog, add toilet duck. Flush once for rear mechs and BBs, twice for chainsets.

Hahaha Genius

.

The mother in law has a brand new house with a dishwasher installed in the kitchen. She said she'd never use it, so now I do. Mostly for motor bike bits, but some mtb parts have been though

I currently use the sink, but think, I'll give the dishwasher a go!

I'm pretty sure the girlfriend won't mind.....

After all she asked me if I'd mind her cleaning her SPD's in the kitchen sink last night!!! 8)

Edit - just asked and the girlfriend said as long as the bits aren't too muddy!
