Retrobike peaks meet 2008 - aftermath thread

What a great day! Only decided to go at around 0730 that morning and set off in the rain. By the time I got there with about three minutes to spare, it had stopped and basically was dry (no rain) for the rest of the day. I did drive through an epic storm of truly biblical proportions on the way home though. The ground was wet though with the technical downhills very slippery. I'm not too sure I had the right sort of tyre on the front for the mud. That's my excuse for the numerous crashes (anyone keep count?) throughout the day. Sorry to miss the final bit but by slinking off early I was able to buy the wife a Blue John trinket and see the sprats before they went to bed!
An excellent day despite the impressive amount of shoulder pain today and last night!

Sounds like an ace day. Great pictures from P20.

Lots of unfamiliar faces (and bikes) which is a good thing for the site 8)

Who rode in the BCF kit?

more to the point, who rode in the pads?

Didn't spot Neillls turtle outfit

Is it obvious that Gump and I are jealous we weren't there?

Just thought I add a well done to Mr K and after a fettle today the Mag21's are indeed dead!

Yeah,by the time I got back the bushes had also moved to the top of the leg,how hairy was it decending Mam Tor with flat forks!(I reckon worse than rigid, makes for a really steep head angle!) Apart from that the Fat C hance rocks! :D,and yes this was the first ride out on it,suprised only the forks packed in.
