Shame It would be nice to know who the over women retro bikers were. Perhaps even organise a womens only meet.

I'm not so sure that there are actually that many women on this site and for me I prefer mixed events.

On the site itself I rather like being anonymous genderwise and being able to contribute as a person rather than being labelled as male or female.

We all know that in the for sale thread people love discussing the price being asked even though we shouldn't
How about a section where we can discuss prices for different items

a lot of suggestions john seem to have been pushed aside due to hosting costs?? you may find that people are more than happy to pay a few pounds a year to help maintain the server/bandwidth issues? i certainly wouldnt have a problem with a small 'special membership' ie allows more storage space etc,maybe £5 a year,if 200-300 regular members paid this then you would have all the money in the world to upgrade bandwidth etc?? just an idea

I agree with this - the OH joined a motorhome forum recently and it allows free access for a while but later for full access to the site there's a mrmbership fee. I think that's fair enough as long as the fee is moderate enough not to discourage access.

i used to use a site that had a garage for prescription membership . a icon in your profile that showed all the owners cars and info/pics about them as well as discounted entry to shows and things

another site cant use the for sale section unless your a premium member . want to sell your tat , you have to pay for the privilege . does of course stop the people who found the interesting thing in the back of the shed from offering it for sale though but on the upside the people selling can be trusted

phpBB v2 has passed it's End of Life from the overall makers (beginning of 2009).
