My company use a PR firm to get our name out and about, and when they were told that a handfull of people sponsored me to do MM they put this in the paper

Good bit of publicity for RB

Never believe anything you read in a newspaper!

In my experience, anything I've ever seen in a paper or similar that I have personal knowledge of, is ALWAYS wrongly reported (unless I've written it myself of course).

Perhaps they couldn't/wouldn't believe that anyone would be mad enough (or capable) to ride 24 hours on a bike.

Good on you Jon good bit of PR and it does explain to al the modern bikers out there reading the article, why your helmet's so out of date.

8 miles. felt like a lot more at 1am in the wind and driving rain and awful mud.
