I will have to disagree as according to my black and white telly it was black! See how simple things were bitd? Black or white.

Given the number of designs around now I reckon there are more better looking bikes around than ever. Just a question of choice.

I like things that should be black to be black. Like saddles and tyres (but not the sidewalls).
I also like things to be functional up to a point.
But the all modern bike components look like they come from the Darth Vader's helmet school of industrial design. Shimano's MTB high point was M900 XTR.
Road wise it was 6500 Ultegra.

I wish the next generation of groupsets could marry the aesthetic and technologic together.
