Retro tyre help needed (feathering how to stop it)

the unfortunate answer is "take it off"

tyres wear, it's what they do.

i dont get precious about using "retro" components for anything the wears, be it tyre, chain/cassette or grips...

tyre problem

i was hoping there was some sort of solution like something that stop rubber cracking that i could apply or a flexible resin of some type

i have a set of rustwall IRC Mythos XC that looked liked it had a bit of solvent had gotten on the sidewalls. it dissolved some of the rubber compound holding the weave together so i applied several light coats of clear Plasti Dip on to bond it back together. i had tried some flexible adhesive prior but that just peeled/rubbed off with my fingers when dried. but this Plasti Dip seems to be holding up.

As mentioned previously when this topic arose, I use Aquasure to weatherproof the sidewalls of my cyclocross tubs, it's a urethane repair adhesive that I believe was originally to repair waterproof fabrics like wetsuits. As recommended by the daddy of tubular tyre makers

Not sure how it would go on amberwalls but maybe worth a go - also stops the mud sticking as much :D
