Retro transport

Old School Hero
It seems, looking at the Clearout IV postings, that there are a few retro petrol heads here. So how much does retro permeate the rest of your life ?

My Current daily driver.

The toy (/very long term project, in bits!) is a 1939 MGTB. Now that's retro

Saabs seem popular with bikers! I'd have one like a shot... if they weren't wrong wheel drive :(

I have always liked interesting cars:

My current daily driver is a 1990 Volvo 740 GLT (2.3 16V). Rather quick actually and replaced a 740 Turbo as it was as fast but less laggy and better on fuel.

Used to have: (age I was)
1982 BMW 635CSi (24)
1983 BMW 320i (24)
1988 Jaguar XJ-S 3.6 (23)
1994 Nissan 200SX Turbo (22)
1985 Ford Capri Laser 2.0 (20)
1984 Vauxhall Cavalier Mk2 SRi (19)
1990 Volvo 360GLT 2.0i (18 )

Next I plan for either a Jaguar XJ-S V12 or a BMW M635CSi. (in about 5 years anyway  )

Done the capris & also had an '83 320i! :D Maybe fancy a volvo 850r if I decide to get something sensible (again, why not RWD?!), & the ol 6ers are seriously good value at the mo...

I have a 1993 Saab 9000 2.0 CSE - there's a few Saabs here!! Would love a 900 Turbo but good ones now are hard to come by. My next buy will be a 1998 (the last  ) 9000 2.3 CSE...

Here is the rear end of it at the 2004 Real Ale Wobble!! I slept in the back of it once all the crap was out!

My bike car is a 1994 Ford Escort  so I won't be showing you guys any pictures .. currently smells of wet mud due to the amount of times I've chucked a filthy bike in there, and never really cleaned it..

Barry, where in Kent are you ??

Well i've posted pics of mine before so I won't again.

Oh, ok then then, you twisted my arm.

It was rebuilt in 2003 with a new Heritage shell (rubber bumpers removed), Ford Type-9 5-speed 'box and Stage 2 engine, amongst other stuff.
