Retro Speedo?

Hi guys,

Just wondered if anyone has any ideas, I've had a good search but no luck.

I've recently finished an early 80's road bike and whilst I like a computer on a bike I can't bring myself to cover up my Cinelli stem or bars with some modern ugly thing!

I came across this which is exactly the sort of thing I'd like, anologue, classy and cool;

But I'm guessing this was just an idea by this company that never happened.

Does anyone else know of something similar or have any other suggestions of a smart retro looking computer that won't spoil the bike? Not worried about lots of features, time, speed and mileage covered is enough.

If you want smart retro looking computer then go for something retro like the Avocet 20. Came out approx '84ish.

Haha quality! wouldn't look right on my road bike though! Guys cheers for the info on Avocets! I've never heard of these and with my bike being a 83/84 an Avocet 20 is bang on period correct, and as luck would have it I found one on ebay and won it It was sold as untested so not getting too excited yet, but if it doesnt work I'll pick up a new 30 from the link 47P2 put up.
