Looks like even Cadbury's are getting on the retro bandwagon. Just picked up a Wispa from the corner shop.

did you check the date stamp? It might not be as much retro as just 8 years out of date!?

My director at work arrived the other day with boxes and boxes of 'Texan' bars saying he'd found a shop that randomly had some left.Until someone pointed out he'd bought them the other week from Tesco and at half the price...

They brought them back due to popular demand, read something on it the other week they been inundated with complaints over the years and decided to bring it back

just like they did with beef monster munch

Ah yess, Cherry Lips............one of my sisters boyfriends took great pleasure, when the local cinema was showing Coppola's Vietnam War adaptation of 'Heart of Darkness', in going to the sweetie kiosk and demanding "A poke o' lips- now!"

Works if yer Scottish, anyway...........

And Texans- what the hell were they made of- sugared builder's caulk??
Nice though.

I'm a massive retro sweet fan, kola kubes were always my favourite! candy bananas are great but are now massive!

Haven't seen any wispas yet but will keep an eye out for them.

loads of yummy retro sweetshere if you fancy a trip down memory lane...

Never mind retro sweets, this is a retro thread

Now that it's been revived, Milkey Way have relaunched an early 90's advert :D the one with the red and blue cars racing
