Anyone remember these? One of the first generation of SPD shoes, the cleat is nicely recessed in the sole so doesn't interfere with walking, Size 40

Brand new and unused, £29.95 posted to UK, add £4 for EU postage.

I remember the first generation of shoes. I don't remember these. What year we talking (just out of interest ?) certainly not the first in 1991 or the second wave in 1992 so 3/4 ? quite few released each of these years, so don't know them all, just don't remember them from BiTD

From memory these were the first SPD shoe to look like a regular shoe rather than an MTB shoe, and were popular with downhillers. The year is def not 1991/2, but possibly 94 onwards. The product code is SH-MX70, I think they were in a Frewheel catalogue at some point. If someone knows the year they were introduced, or had a pair BITD then let me know...! :)

ah a code MX70 96-97 then followed by MX80 in 97-98
Thought I didn't know them, something new to me.

back to the sale, roll up roll up...

Damn too small  , I had these BITD and were the best SPD shoes I have ever had 8), Mine lasted until about a year ago when the cat took a liking (or disliking) to one of them... I would say around 1997
