Hello all,
Seems like quite few people were forced to miss this year's Retro Ronde for various reasons.
My mate who's headset went to cock is planning to go over and re-do the route (presumably on a different bike) later this year.
Is anyone interested in coming along? We'll most likely download the 100km route to GPS and follow that. It passes by the foot (feet?) of the Taaienberg and Paterberg, so we could easily take a short detour to do them if people want to.
The most likely dates would either be last weekend of July or one of the last two weekends of August. We can always add an extra day's cycling elsewhere in Belgium if people want to do something extra.
I am sure we can add a few beer stops on the way. Saw a couple of decent cafes on the route (and the stop at Nokere is at a cafe anyway).
Cheers,
Johnny
