Retro related regret

Selling my S-Works M2xx.......

.....but now I've got it back :D

so no real regrets, yet..........

P.S. not bidding on the DBR Axis pro that sold for £45 on ebay.fr

Giving away a large cardboard box full of classic roadie stuff just before it all became 'collectors items'. Mafac brakes, original TA crank set, Williams alloy cotterless chainset, Balilla brake levers, Unica saddles, GB handlebars, Ambrosio stems - and more.

At least I know they went to a good and appreciative home - but I'd rather they were still in my shed!

Oh, and selling all my bikes bar one (6 road and track and a racing tandem) 20 years ago when my GP told me to stop cycling after a serious illness and then my specialist telling me it was the best thing I could be doing. At least it got me into mountain biking which I probably would have ignored if I'd stayed with road racing.

giving away the cook bros stem foc. dont really regret buying all the cnc lovely shinyness that turned out to be rubbish.. just part of the learning curve :)
only retro thing I regret selling are the fuquay fork blades to fit a mag21 crown & those mavic m6 wheels i sold mega cheap to healthy. oh & the grafton mag-lites I had no use for a few months ago & now need for the tomac!

I regret selling my Cannondale F900, beautiful bike in team blue with yellow decals. Sold it to a 20st South African rugby player

Nothing MTB related....apart from not buying (and keeping) a few pairs of Merlin Ti bars when they were common as muck....

And apparently 'its better to regret something you have done than to regret something you haven't done'............
