Retro rare Trek 1993? TREK 8000 Aluminium USA

:shock: This was a complete and working bicycle before I took it apart. I also have the rear wheel although not pictured. The condition of the parts is good. I have had the frame sandblasted some months ago, but due to too many projects and a new job I have decided not to see this one through, plus the frame is not quite my size. Bottom bracket threads are good.

As far as I am aware all the parts are original and complete.

Any idea what model it is/was before the original paint was blasted away?
