Retro mountain bikes...what lights yer candle?

I know I am in the minority here but still have a massive candle for the early downhill stuff... Never going to be anywhere near up to doing it again but will build me a period bike... take it somewhere quiet crap my pants but grin ear to ear doing it

So its

95/96/97/98 years in the full suspension types??

( Flack jacket on ready for the barrage  )

Fat tubes - hence the Cannondale, Funk and Rocky Mountain
E-stays - hence the Funk, Rocky and Saracen
Anything Titanium - Gonna have a Merlin one day
Leftfield stuff - Like EWR's, Valkyries, Corratec, Pugsley's 8)
Oldskool Canadian stuff - Brodies, Toads, Curtlo's

I went into the shed and tried to see a common theme in all my bike stuff. It would have to be something like: Craftsmanship, and the marriage of form & function, and admittedly full suspension too.

And particularly I have stuff by little companies doing their own thing sometimes with and sometimes against the mainstream. My selection includes in no particular order: Pace, Sinister, Hope, Storck, Zero, Foes, Onza, Maverick, U.S.E., Santa Cruz, German A, Lenz Sport, King, Kona, Azonic, Ellsworth, Caramba, Mongoose, Heylight, Klein etc.

Enjoy!!
