Yes, of course. Aluminium is well known for its qualities of being bent into just about any shape maintaining 100 percent of its structural integrity, unlike pesky steel which just cracks if you kiss it with your crusty lips just once.

Why would it snap? I thought steel bends long before it snaps? Should take several in-out cycles for it to work harden?
Hopefully will be sharing the details of the new frameset in the next few days.

Could always install fork, mount a dummy doll unto it and send it straight into incoming traffic from a steady incline and see if it straightens it back up

I've got a Lepper saddle. They are made of very tough leather. The sphincter won't chew it up.
