Retro meet up in mid suffolk sat 6th sept...

Just wondering if anybody would be interested in a meet up and ride in mid suffolk.

Im planning a bike day in a local village with some help from cycling uk and would love to see the retrobike side of the scene represented. The days aim is to promote cycling in all forms, from sustainability to touring to collecting.....and everything in between!

Date tbc this week, but late August early sept.

Ride after...not fast...on some of our amazingly unused roads and bridleways.....oh obvs via a pub

Its only a village affair, but we are hoping for a good turnout. Im happy to lead a trundle round after the "show" is packed up.

as in to fit the flags to the retro bikes like an old school raleigh chopper?

Yes.......... streaming through the suffolk countyside, our flags unfurled and fluttering as we pedal with gay abandonment, oblivious to the 40 car queue forming to our rear.....halcyon days.

No......i was thinking of the ground mounted flags......im sure i did see some banners or something in some pictures a while back..didn't know if they were available to borrow or if i imagined it!.......very possibly these days.
