Retro Lights!

The best thing about these was when you hopped off a kerb and they came out of their brackets. On hitting the pavement they'd seperate into their component parts and send the batteries bouncing down the road. Happy days.

Happy days indeed. These looked like the Ever Ready ones at least. Think I had a sub-Ever Ready quality set from Halfords - would have been better riding around at night with a match.

Ah, yes the tricky Mk1 model - the later ones had an extra lip that prevented premature ejection...


I made mine 12v.
 
some retro things are cool and good quality.... and some are not cool and are crap....
sorry jon but guess which one these lights are ? :lol: :wink:
