Retro 1993 Marzocchi XCR

I have a pair of 1993/94 Marzocchi XCR for sale, need some attention - new oil and a strip down. They were speced on a 1995 Kona Sex Two, they have 2" travel and are air fork. I am looking for about £10-£15.

Not saying he would defo want them, but speak to Rojo on here. I am sending him a Kona AA frame and XCR forks (plus wheels and other bits) on Monday, for that price he may want them for spares...

Just out of curiosity (on Rojos behalf) are they the ones with gold lowers, black crown, 2 adjustment dials on the lowers?

they are the grey ones with no adjustments. they do have black crown and removable steerer and stantions

I hope this is helpful, rather than a hijack, but I have a 1993 XC500, which I haven't used because when it came to me (with a 1994 Kona Explosif) the (removable) crown had a huge crack in it. But the lowers seem to be fine. i.e., I think you could combine the two forks very easily to make one good one, and for less than the cost of servicing the XCR.

It makes quite a good retro fork - it is short enough to work well with the geometry of retro frames and it works ok and mine weighs 1.47kg = 3.25lb.
