A lot of us started in similar places at the bottom. No bikes, little money.

I personally couldn't care who enters bikes as long as they are active participants in the forum who add value, experience and expertise rather than fair weather members who splash and dash BOTM every month.

I find it interesting that for a UK based website, with a (I believe) largely UK based membership, that so many of the entrants of BOTM, and certainly a lot of the... umm... passionate respondents (!) appear to be from outside of the UK, and 'Across the pond'.

Are the Brit bikers here not as competitive, or just more laid back when the inevitable bunfight starts?
