Has anyone heard of this rider? I have just bought a bike with his name on the top tube (see Readers Bikes Raleigh Castorama thread). I am wondering if he was a pro rider, or just a normal bloke who put his name on his bike.

He doesn't appear in the Memoire de Cyclisme website lists of pro riders.

no idea if there's a link, but there used to be a bicycle manufacturer by that name......
