be careful not to damage the paintwork with white spirits or nail polish remover.
an odd one that really works (did it on my marin and my orange) is to rub crunchy peanut butter (not low salt or low fat) onto the decals. wait for about 10-15mins and then rub off with a paper towel and some washing up liquid....
it really works - something to do with the oil in the peanut butter breaking down the adhesive I think
