removing anodizing

Help! I have a set of Shimano 737 cranks with chain rings in great shape but the black anodized cranks have a lot of anodizing worn off.
Is it possible to buff out the remaining anodizing and have a reasonably good looking set of silver cranks?

I would appreciate any suggestions you may have.

I erred...they are older 730's from an '88 Ritchey Ultra. Faulty lighting, faulty eyes!

Yes, can be done. Caustic Soda is the way. Have a search for that on here, plenty of threads about it.
