Removing a Freehub

Kingoffootball, how can you do this hobby without a bench vice is beyond me. Just saying.

Haha, it's a good question. At the moment, I am 'of no fixed abode' and still unsure whether I'll be moving abroad again, so even my tools are split between two family members' houses, making all maintenance a bit time-consuming. I am enjoying working on bikes again, even if it means testing people's patience by using their front rooms or kitchens as temporary workshops.

If I decide I am in a position to move back into my house (and more importantly the integrated garage) the first thing I'll do is furnish it with a workbench and the bench vice above!

Thank you for the help:

I thought I might have to give up and find a friend with a bench vice after bending the chainwhip tool, but I managed to exert enough force in the end.

Now I only have two days to make a final decision about what is going which colour
