i have just seen one being used! i was amazed to see one of them,been years since i last saw one.
horrible looking 3 wheeled thing the rider?driver? had to pedal it up a very short gentle incline.
think i can see why they did not sell!

rolled it.

round a 90deg bend flat out. rolled it, snapped it, went winey and stopped working (while upside down).

ridiculous device. Sort of like a futuristic hybrid version of an Austin Princess but 25years ahead of it's time.

Our CDT teacher 'Bodger' Morritt had one and brought it in one afternoon. We spent an hour doing wheelies and getting it sideways on the all weather pitch. I loved it and always wanted to get one and soup it up.

Bodger was great but got the sack for 'borrowing' lead from the village church roof
