Does anyone have any tips or is it possible to return a leather covered saddle to it's former glory or even just get it looking a bit better?

I have an orange/white/black flite which matches my bike perfectly but it's never recovered from 2, 10 hour solo races and it now a black/muddy orange/very dirty white saddle. It's been cleaned repeatedly and have used shoe polish on each corresponding colour but to no avail, it still looks terrible.
Any tips greatly appreciated.

Thanks

i've recovered a flite and a WTB SST saddle, as long as you get a good strong adhesive (flooring adhesive works well) and a scrap of leather big enough, have the time and don't mind getting messy it's quite an easy thing to do.
