Wierd - only got up to £270 odd at auction, but snapped up when advertised at £550 with buy it now:

At these prices I think it's worth getting mine refurbished.
Definitely!

It'll be interesting to see if Clunker updates us. I just wonder whether it's possible that the buyer thought it was a complete bike, because £550 is a lot for f/f compared to what you paid for a complete bike.

I acknowledge that Clunker provided a very clear notice that it was just the f/f that was in the auction, but even so I personally think that having six photos of a complete bike when you're only auctioning the f/f is potentially misleading and I must say I am rather surprised that eBay allows it.

I don't think it is misleading...very obvious when you read the description, but you are right in ways, some people read what they want to read.
Does seem strong money for F+F, wouldn't be suprised if it gets relisted.

Some people hardly trouble to read at all! I agree with what you say and that's why I didn't say it was misleading, I said it was potentially misleading.

I go the impression that this wasn't Clunkers bike, he was just outing it, but I could be wrong.

I guess £550 is actually less than half what a new Dekerf and RC31's would cost, so perhaps represents some value in that respect.

Sorry like the seller I wasn’t clear, no connection to me what so ever, I just thought it looked a lush frame and if it had been in my size I would have been bidding up to £450.
Cheers
Matt
