* REDUCED* KONA KILAUEA 19" FRAME & FORKS

Gothrick

Retro Newbie
1994 vintage Kona Kilauea - 19 inch Tange Prestige Concept tapered oval double butted steel frame and Project Two Forks fitted with new Ritchey Logic Headset and Seat Collar.

I have owned the bike from new and last year had it professionally resprayed in original colour and fitted with new decals (lacquered under the two clear topcoats not stuck on). I then built it up into a drop barred road touring bike but the planned tour never happened. It has now been stripped back to frame & forks and is offered for sale.

It is as new and looks like it has just left the factory except where components had been installed. There is a small blemish to the back of the seat tube where it slipped in my work stand. This has been retouched and is just visible in one of the photographs.

Asking price is reduced to NOW ONLY £150.00 (+ £10 delivery or I will meet/personally deliver up to 20 mile radius of Bawtry South Yorkshire free of charge).

Re:

Thanks Doug, you certainly appreciate a classic bike. Thought by advertising here rather than eBay it might attract more connoisseurs but no luck. There's a lot of junk on here and people seem to want something for nothing!

Rick

At 5'11" it is indeed my size..........and reminds me so much of the days I spent whizzing through the commuter streets of Londinium Town back in the day.......early 90's (so yes I am the wrong side of 40). Gonna cry cos should be getting rid not gettng more.....

Yeah, you're better than us and we are all tight fisted moochers. Good luck with your sale but it's damned bad manners to insult the people who use and set up the forum you are trying to sell on, especially when so many of them ( us) give stuff away and are keen not to rip anyone off. ( not saying you are, it's a good price for a lovely frame and fork )
