Recommend me a Waterproof Jacket

Guessing that most of the Forum members are fair weather riders and dont ride in the rain

I just wear a hoody because I'm manly and don't fear the water , the hood keeps the chill away from my neck too . sniff

The bottoms of my jeans do tend to soak the water up though .

If I did want to repel the water I'd get one of those clear water proof things .

I am not a fashion junkie so wear a lightweight Mountain Equipment goretex jacket, complete with hood. It works.

No luck with waterproof trousers yet :evil:

One of the cycling mags this month has a waterproof jacket test article.

Just got an Altura Attack Extreme jacket, bit of a bargain at Merlin at the mo. Good fit and they got a good write up in the tests I've looked at.
