Sorry, completely forgot about crank bolts - I wasn't thinking 'retro' and only about newer bits like 8mm captive crank bolts etc...

Used my Snap-on clicky one for years without any problems, calibrated every 6 months {dealership rules}, always been spot on.. kinda pricey though..
 
Exactly, I had two snap on torque wrenches and a big britool three quarter drive, essential for the job, but now long gone, lost, so it is back to basics and a half drive beam wrench with reducers, Draper no less, probably about the most accurate thing they do.
