Recommend me a laptop power source

Hi folks

Was hoping someone out there could advise on the above, as the one we have been using is on it's way out after about a year. charges the battery Intermittently and cuts out if we take the battery out.
Was hoping to update a build thread tonight as well.
The one we have been using is a Logik.
Any help would be great appreciated

Your problem is probably the cable has been damaged infernally, just before the strain relief on the jack. They do that and if you move it to the correct angle near the socket it works. Knock it it doesn't.

You can sometimes tape them in a nice orientation\bend.

Either that or the jack socket is damages, that also happens.

Find the code for your laptop PSU or just use the laptop make model, stick it in Amazon/eBay and one should pop up. Check it has the corecr output voltage and current (or Voltage/ power rating)

They don't cost a lot normally and will work.
Unfortunately they vary a lot between manufacturer it not easy to tell you which to get without knowing which it is.

If you want a decent one, try Innergie. Innergie is the aftermarket brand of Delta, the largest PSU maker. They also have nice points like a side USB for phone charging without putting the PC on. Many of the ebay ones are downright dangerous and aren't certified.
