Rebuilt Marin Eldridge Grade

Jaggs

Dirt Disciple
So I noticed that my old Marin was a little bit the worse for wear considering it had not had strip down and service for about erm...20 years!

It's actually a 96 frame with 92 bits, as I snapped the frame on the original '92 bike, and it was returned under warranty with a new frame.

So I've updated a few bits:

NOS Deore DX Cantilevers
Replaced the old original Gripshifts (still working though) with Deore XT Thumbies
Replaced the front mavic 231 to match the rear, which was a 217. Now both 217's with XT hubs
New cables etc....
Have since swapped the pedals for a pair of original Marin lite models.
Have a set of White Cranks to go on, to replace the Deore LX model shown.

And I am quite happy with the results. Didn't go for a respray or anything, not my particular field of expertise.
