Rear Wheel

Hi there, as a newbie I'm not sure I'm gonna put the correct info on here for what I want ... but here goes!!

I'm after a spare rear wheel for my mtb, so that I just have to change wheels to use my turbo trainer, not have to change tyres every time!! :roll:

I'm looking for a 26" wheel, 135mm spacing on the hub, and if it's got an inner tube that's the right size to fit inside a 26x1.75 turbo trainer tyre. ... that would be fab!!

Cheap and cheerful would also be good as it's only ever gonna be used on the turbo trainer, it's never gonna have to go over any bumps in the road .... I already have a proper back wheel for that!! Lol!!

i've prob got something - rim is a bit shagged. 9 speed hub. what you looking to pay -postage is prob as relatively expensive.

And to you Grannygrinder ... How much do you want for the wheel? My bf is coming to stay this weekend and he's keen to check out the bike rides at Brechfa, which I think is just up the road from you!! Maybe we could manage to sort out the two things together!! I'm guessing you know all about Brechfa and so you could possibly tell my retro-nut bf all about it?

I don't want any fancy back wheel, I do just want summat cheap and cheerful for my turbotrainer, so your description sounds fab!! Any chance you could post a coupla pics for my bf to check them over? (He's the all knowing bike person out of the 2 of us!! Lol!! )

It does sound fab though, and as soon as I'm next down in Carms then I'll pm you first!!

I'm kinda stuck in the middle at the mo, as I want to ask my bf about it first, he's the bike nut, not me!! Lol!!

And it depends which direction (east or west from Margam?!) he wants to go on Sat ... he's my guest so he gets the choice I'm afraid!

So whichever he chooses I'll let either you (Scant) or you (Grannygrinder) know as soon as I can!

I don't want anything for the wheel its just taking up valuable shed space. Brechfa is v. wet at the moment, still fun though. Some of it was shut for repairs a few weeks ago,not sure if they've reopened those bits yet. You will be practically passing my front door on the way, let me know if you are coming although i probably won't be about in the morning.
