Here we have:
Deore FH-M510 on a Mavic D521 rim. The rim has neligible wear, in fact you can still see the original machining marks in places. The hub is nice and smooth and the free hub has a nice strong click. The wheel is within 1mm of true. The spokes are marked 'S' (Sapim?) and are plain gauge stainless. If you didn't already know the D521 is a downhill-spec rim from BITD. These rims were also used on trials bikes.
Would like to swap for a front disc wheel.
