Rear Shock Bushes Help

So, I had a crazy idea...

I have a Rock Shox Ario 2.R rear shock that happens to be the correct length to fit a frame. The original Fox Vanilla shock was mounted using two counter-sunk allen bolts which threaded into the bushes.

Is it possible to get a bushing for my Ario which would allow it to be mounted using the same bolt type?

surely is all you need to match is the diamter of the holes the bushes go into? have you tried this? i got my dad to make me some bushes for my fox from my i drive to fit my diamondback. very simple turned bits basically. you say the counter sunk bolts go into the bushes but the look like they only go into the frame meaning the bushes will be flush with the frame. if the diamters are different you could try making a shim also. sorry if this doesnt help  what frame is it? looks interesting.

can you not swap the bushings from one shock to the other?

I think the ID of the eye is wider on the Fox, at least at the end with the widest bushing; although I haven't gone as far are removing it to check.

I fired off an email to Tim Flooks last night. Frankly rear shocks and their associated mountings are beyond me. I like things with nice standard fittings.
