rear (or set) of lightweight wheels needed...

Ok so my series one crossmax after nearly 20 years of racing is slowly giving up the ghost. Lots of cracks internally due to constantly truing and riding over some of the best xc courses (actually I think it ws hadleigh that finally did it!)

So i need a new crossmax or similar rear wheel or light wheelset,but they need to be light - currently theyre around the 1400 mark so will need something very similar (or even less!)

I am price restricted but please let me know what youve got as I dont think my rear wheel is ging to last another race, after the noises it was making yesterday!

I have an XT rear and LX front wheel set up for sale. The rim's don't match but they are both Mavic if i remember correctly. PM me if interested.

Chris what are you after moneywise for the crossmaxes, are they new?

Moneywise it depends what people are offering - if a set of the (very limited)Hope 1300g's came up for sale Id find the money, the same with a good set of american classics about the same weight, but if we're talking about a single 2nd hand crossmax then I cant really go above £50-60 depending on condition

Its really annoying as there's a pair of american classics on ebay at the moment but the seller wont weigh them, despite being a shop...
