Rear mech hanger

Giant cfm 3, fitted an old dx mech, needs a hanger, so many out there, anyone suggest a solution

Any help much appreciated, its doing my nut, I cant get the adjustment needed to lower the derailleur enough to miss the cassette, I cant see the problem as the old exage mech bolted direct???

The B-tension screw on the mech adjusts the body up and down. I don't know that mech but I assume there is one?? Tightening the screw will lower the top jockey wheel a bit. If it still won't clear the sprockets I guess a mech hanger extender is the next option? https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/gear-spares/aluminum-rear-derailleur-hanger-extender/ I think the original ones were made by Wolf Tooth to allow road mechs to clear a larget big sprocket, but I think the cheap ones like this do the same job.

Thanks, the b tension screw hasn't got enough give. I'll look at the link, thanks again
