Carrera frames aren't too bad, they're made by Merida, which IIRC is 50% owned by Specialized

Usually Carrera frames are of a better spec than an equivalent priced 'big name' frame.

Not worth spending a lot on, as you know but still worth getting back on the road as a cheap hack or MTB
