REAL Canti Levers as V-Brake Levers?

I have a set of Real Brake Levers with two positions for the cable. The cable always 'wants' to seat in the position nearer the pivot and i've read this is the correct place for canti's.

Does the outer position give enough leverage for V's, and if so how do i keep the cable in that position? :?

they are meant to have little inserts that fill the blank hole so the cable cant slip into it.

I recently sold some on here to Messiah that had the gubbins in question. may be worth asking him for some photo's

Did you ever run them as V levers? If so, did they work?

I have several pairs of those .

a bit of patience , a can of coke, a good pen knife , and a bit of imagination , and it is ok .

Yeah, knocking up something to wedge in isn't an issue. Just whether they actually work as V levers??

Dunno about yours TP, but mine have two separate holes, I'm guessing the top are for canti's....more leverage?

The ones Jerky sold me had the inserts and they work very well with the Avid Ultimates on my Lloyd - not quite as good as the XTR levers they replaced but certainly well enough to remain on there (and look awesome) 8)

A couple of very poor quality pictures that Jerky sent me :? Sorry to post these on dude!

It will be easy enough to file something up to hold the block in the upper position - no doubt I will have to do that when I lose the plastic moon things
